Discovery of Ancient armored fossil

Snails are not considered to be harmful, however, it was found that the snails' ancestors had hard scales and was covered with spines, in the journal Geology.
This discovery, which is a 700 million passed fossil, was examined from 2007. Many estimates that this fossil has the longest history to have mineral coat in its body.
Researchers from Harvard University found the appearance of fossil covered with sharp plates, which were 20 microns wide, by using scanning electron microscopy, with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Researchers have researched the reason of the requirement of a simple organism. As an example, complicated exoskeleton. A MIT researcher ,Phobe Cohen said “It takes a lot of effort, energy and just sheer biomass to create these".
Some says that the scales might be used as a tool for defensing theirselves. "It's a good possibility that these fossil plates functioned in defense against predators," said the professor of California University, Susannah Porter.
I am very surprised about the fact that there is a fossil of a snail.
I only thought about the image of snail in the animation cartoon, of the image of
snails with big eyes, and covered with cute colors. I hope many scientists found many fossils from
long time ago's history, to develop the study of science of past.

Meeting new species from in South American Jungle.

About the research that invests 1,300 species from the rivers that rely on the forests that are hard to approach, scientists and native people of Southwest Surinam joined, during 2010's three projects. This research aimed to record bidiversity and to support safety around the world.
According to the recent report from Conservation International, the river of South American Jungle, scientists have discovered a new species of catfish, named "armored catfish." Also, it's known that as well as the "armored catfish", several new species of insects were discovered, too.
Member of Global Wildlife Conservation, Dr. Leeanne Alonso who was one of the researchers of this project have said "The area was paradise for the etomologists with spectacular and unique insects everywhere." Director of RAP, Dr.Trond Larsen have said as a scientist this research was a great chance to study forests, especially when he trust and support protecting the landscapes, he thought that it could give lot of opportunity for sustaining ecosystem that people depend.
I want to clap for the scientists and people to research the nature, because it is hard to research for others, not only for themselves. The reason why I thought like this is that nature is closely connected with people. To save the nature and people, scientists researched a lot, and this is the representive example for scientists' efforts to save the nature and the world. It would be hard to choose the way they would go or not, but I want to clap for their courage and efforts. I am also curious about the new species that scientists have found, and if I have a chance next time, I want to look around of the jungle they went.

This picture is about a new species of a frog name " Pac-man Frog".
"Pac-Man Frog is a sit-and-wait predator that can swallow mice and other frogs.

A donating genius, Gates

Bill Gates, the leader of Microsoft, announced that "The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation" will donate $750 million to help people cured from AIDS to the Global Fund at Thursday at the World Econmic Forum.
Gates say "By supporting the Global Fund, we can helpo to change the fortunes of the poorest countries in the world". And also he emphasized his mind to the donation by saying that he could not think of more significant and needed work.
Also, it has be founded that another Gates's donating organization named Gates Foundation has injected $1350.
There was a controversy about the possibility of misused funds,  however Gates had calmed down this conflict by talking to experts with Simon Bland. Gates said "The way it have been written about was pretty disappointing. If you are going to do health programs in Africa, you are going to have some percentage that is misused." He also said that the main aim is to saving lives and help them. He added "All sorts of things that are going on that far overwhelm any amount of misdirection or whatever it was."
About Gates donated a large amount of money to save people from AIDS, TB, Malaria, I've got quite disappointed and somewhat proud that there is a donating people such as Gates. It would be hard to give their own money to others, because society's rule to their own mind probably goes to just surviving.
However, Gates have made other people, not him survive but together survive with the diseases from other country. Also I was quite surprised what Gates said to calm the controversy. He said that the main goal of donation is saving and helping people, so he said there would be a lot of possibility to make a miscount of the fund, and misuse of the fund. All he said, was so much believable to me, and because of this, my roll model become Gates. Like Gates, I want to make my mind to help people when I grow up.

Wikipedia against S.O.F.A

On January 18, Wikipedia was shut down through one day, whole 24 hours to protest about the bill, S.O.P.A to show their response against it. Wikipedia is one of the interactive websites on the Internet, which is very influential to people. CNN interviewed the Wikipedia's co-founder, Jimmy Whales, to know about reason about their first response to United States's politics.

This is the main point, the summary of the interview. Wales had claimed out that Wikipedia were having pressure starting from early December, then they decided to protest against the law. And this decision was made from WIkipedia community, number of 1800. Wales said that this is the first political action and response against the law.

Wales also said about the things that will happen on Wednesday to prepare people. He said "They will found a notice explaining what's going on - explaining our opposition to this and urging them to call their senator or representative," and "We are hoping to really drive a lot of noise in Washington so that people will realize that just listening to Hollywood is no the best idea."

Currently, I know that the vote of consisting or not about the S.O.P.A made a decision about it. They said they won't pass it until there would be a good decision for the two parts of the opinion, agree and disagree. I think this conclusion made a great calmness to both sides, because it's wiser than just passing the bill. Well, my opinion about SOPA is disagree, because I agree about the part that we should protect copyrights but I don't think we should give punishment to the website, because they are a company, and they have a purpose to give information to readers.

Umm.. My opinion about the response of Wikipedia is good. Because it's a kind of campaign without power, and I like the part that other websites also response politically about the bill. Wikipedia made a wise decision about the response about this SOPA bill, and I liked that part that CNN interview Wikipedia's co-founder Wales to know the opinion and part about SOPA of Wikipedia, and made readers to prepare about Wednesday's war against the bill.

CNN fights wth S.L.A.V.E.R.Y!

Slavery has become one of the hottest and most serious news around the world. The problem was the ways and things that are used in slavery was hidden by the people's thoughts. CNN, which is a representive media, has claimed the fight between CNN and slavery.

They said "This year CNN will join the fight to end modern-day slavery and shine a spotlight on the horrors of modern-day slavery, amplify the voices of the victims, highlight success stories and help unravel the complicated tangle of criminal enterprises trading in human life."

In the website of CNN Freedom Project website, they made a column about the facts about the slavery, the trafficers, solutions, live in slavery etc. This made many people think variously about CNN Freedom Project's efforts to save people from slavery.

The responses from the joiners and readers had two sides. Some says " For those who do human trafficking I think the ultimate punishment should be given without preamble." and "Sentence those who consider it a lucrative profit to death and anyone associated with it."

Other say " hen you are born into slavery its only logical that you will be a child slave before you become an adult slave. What is the point of talking about child slavery? Its just slavery."
